About this event

April is the traditional time to recognize and celebrate volunteers. Will your usual activities fit for 2021? If you have special recognitions or appreciation events during this time, how will they look different in 2021. Let’s talk about how to celebrate our volunteers in a pandemic. We will leave time to discuss any other issues you are facing in your roles as volunteer directors, managers, coordinators and more. All are welcome.

Volunteer Fairfax serves the Fairfax County/Northern Virginia community. We mobilize people and resources to meet regional community needs. We achieve our mission through a variety of programs, special events, and services. Through these activities, Volunteer Fairfax strengthens the capacity of local nonprofits, connects for-profit resources to community need, matches volunteers to meaningful service, supports government programs, and hosts family-friendly volunteer opportunities. We are proud to be a source of volunteer management education.
